What is your favorite part about being an educator?
I have a passion for reading, math, and social-emotional development. I love to read stories aloud, but most of all, I love seeing my students’ growth throughout the year.
What do you enjoy doing?
Outside of school, I am a crazy cat lady, love to do yoga, and spend much of my time in the mountains. I also enjoy quality time with my family and friends.
What is an interesting fact about you?
I am a Double Gold Medalist figure skater!
What is your background?
I grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and went to school at Ohio University (Go Bobcats!). Two years ago, I taught first grade in Athens, Ohio and last year, taught kindergarten here at Barney Ford!
