What is your favorite part about being an educator?
I love working with students and helping them to do their best in school
What do you enjoy doing?
camping, hiking, gardening, reading, cooking, spending time with family and friends, traveling, shopping and going on dog walks
What is an interesting fact about you?
I worked in Alaska for three summers canning salmon
What is your background?
I am from Northern California, Marin County. I went to college at UC Santa Barbara and UC Berkeley. I met my first husband in Alaska. He is Cuban and lived in Louisiana so I moved there and got my Masters in Social Work at Louisiana State University. Afterwards, we moved to Boulder, Colorado.
